Our Story

Every decision we ‘make is guided by a clear sense of purpose. Our journey has never been ordinary, and at every step we’ve stayed grounded in our values while creating space for thoughtful, lasting work. At Bunny’s Love Farm, that purpose begins with the land itself. From the moment we opened our gates in Sweet Home, we committed to practices that nurture soil health, support biodiversity, and reduce waste. This commitment shapes everything we do—from planting plans and animal care to the way we design community events—each choice strengthening both the farm and the people who experience it.

We chose to grow slowly and intentionally. Rather than chasing quick returns, we invested in education, relationships, and community connection. We learned regenerative techniques, partnered with local growers, and listened closely to our neighbors about what they needed. Those conversations helped shape our classes, volunteer opportunities, and seasonal celebrations. Today, the farm is a place where people of all ages can connect with the rhythms of farm life—planting, tending, harvesting, and sharing meals—while building confidence, skills, and a deeper understanding of the land.

Thoughtful, lasting work means creating experiences that truly matter. Our workshops offer practical knowledge that guests can carry home, while our events foster connection, stewardship, and belonging. Caring for our animals reflects these same values, with a focus on respect and well-being that teaches empathy and responsibility. Sustainability here is both practical and intentional, from water-saving systems to composting, pollinator habitats, and seed-saving efforts. We measure success not just by what we harvest, but by the health of our soil, the return of wildlife, and the traditions we pass on. Guided by purpose, we continue to grow alongside our community—inviting others to learn, celebrate, and help carry forward a meaningful way of living on the land.

  • “Having a farm has taught my children invaluable lessons about food security, community, and sustainability.”
